The Nandi Awards, state award for Telugu films were announced recently and Mohanlal has won the best supporting actor for his performance in the film Janatha Garage directed by Koratala Siva. This is for the first time the actor is winning the Nandi award. Earlier, actor Siddique has won a special jury award in the year 2013 for his performance in the Telugu film ‘Naa Bangaru Thalli’. Mohanlal played the role Sathya in Janatha Garage who lives in a small village and owns a workshop named Janatha Garage. The actor received good critics for his performance and is marked as one of the biggest positives of the film.
