After son, Dulquer Salmaan now it is Malayalam Megastar Mammootty who all set to act in a Telugu Movie. The star is going to act in a biopic based on Former Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister YS Rajasekhar Reddy, who died in helicopter crash in 2009.
Mammootty is returning to Tollywood after a gap of two decades. The film will be directed by Mahi Raghav. The film is tentatively titled as “Yatra” which will be going on the floor next year and will have Mammootty playing the Late CM.
Rumors are doing the rounds that Nayanthara will be doing the female Lead in the film and Actor Surya will also be a part of the film. But we have not got any confirmation regarding this update from the Director.
Mammooty’s last outing in Telugu was Kodi Ramakrishna’s “Railway Coolie”, two decades ago. “Swathi Kiranam” being his most popular movie in Tollywood.
Anyway, it would be interesting to see how the audience will react to the biopic of YS Rajasekhar Reddy the most fascinating politician in the history of Andhra Pradesh.
