The shooting of the movie “Varma” is going at a brisk pace. The movie directed by Bala stars “Dhruv Vikram” son of “Chiyaan Vikram” in the lead. Regarding the female lead of the movie, many names were doing the rounding. Actress Shriya Sharma was also reported to be cast in the movie.
Now we come to know that Bengal based model Megha will be making her debut as heroine opposite Dhruv in the film.
'Varma' is the remake of Telugu Blockbuster film ‘Arjun Reddy’ which starred Vijay Deverakonda as a medical surgeon Arjun Reddy who falls in love with his college junior Preethi (Shalini). He becomes alcoholic post-break-up and the rest of the story revolves around it.
As per the reports, the movie team is planning to release 'Varma' by December this year
