Actress Samantha Akkineni is having a great year this year at the box office with her films Rangasthalam, Irumbuthirai, and Mahanati, turning out to be blockbusters. Now, we have a surprise announcement that, bilingual movie U-Turn will release on September 13th.
Actress Samantha took to Twitter and posted the poster of the movie and confirmed the film would be hitting the screens on September 13th. The poster is very impressive, Samantha bordered by blood, grime, roads, and buildings.
U-Turn is a remake of a Kannada movie, which starred Shraddha Srinath in the lead. The movie directed by Pawan Kumar, who was also director of the Kannada version. The movie also stars Rahul Ravindran and Aadhi Pinisetty in key roles.
The movie will be released in Tamil and Telugu. It will be very interesting, as Sivakarthikeyan’s “Seema Raja” which also has Samantha as the female lead is also slated to release on September 13th. So it would be surely an interesting competition at the box office.
