Malayalam movie “Salt N’ Pepper” directed by Aashiq Abu which got released on 2011 is considered to one of the path-breaking movies which started the new wave of new generation model of storytelling in Malayalam Film Industry. Now the movie is getting a sequel of sorts.
The movie is titled as “Black Coffee” and is written and directed by Actor Baburaj. The movie will star Lal, Baburaj, Shweta Menon and Mythili who will be reprising their roles in the sequel. The movie will also star Rachana Narayanankutty, Lena, Oviya and Orma. As per reports, Director Aashiq Abu will also be seen in a brief cameo role. The project is bankrolled by Sajeesh Manjeri. The shooting of the movie has started from today.
Bijibal has composed the music for the movie and James Bava handles the camera. "Salt N Pepper" turned out to be a big hit at the box-office and the movie even got remade in various other languages. Anyway, we expect the team to repeat the same magic at the box-office.
