Manju Warrier starrer Aami got good reviews from viewers. This film directed by Kamal. Manju Warrier delivers a good performance in Kamala Das biopic also starring Tovino Thomas, Murali Gopy, Anoop Menon etc. Aami is a biopic on Madhavikutty aka Kamala Surayya, who was one of the most celebrated writers of Malayalam literary world. The writer was also fondly called as Aami. Other actors Tovino Thomas, Murali Gopy, Anoop Menon, Renji Panicker, Jyothi Krishna performed very well. The songs of the film have been set to tune by M Jayachandran. The song Neermathalam sung by Shreya Ghosal goes viral. Background score by Bijibal suits the movie exceedingly well.

A movie which makes us think about how low does people think. I adore Kamala suraiyya for what she was, how she faced her bitter life and how open-hearted she was. And I am trying to smile the way she did throughout her life. Hats off to the director and all the actors.

Watched with a lot of expectations from ariesples tvm. No regret very much.. Kamal Sir we admired ur earlier movies in the 90's but this one is a pain for the viewer to watch. The story lags too much n u wished movie ended at the intreval but it drags along boring the viewere every minute...

In a class artist like Manju, selection is utter flop. It’s very far away from original movie, of Madhavikutties life...Direction is not good. And waste of time...
