REVIEW

Manikandan who made award winning blockbuster ‘Kakkai Muttai’ and the thriller ‘Kutrame Dhandanai’ has again come up with a subject that offer plenty of targets to take pot-shots at. Casting is also done superbly even in the case of minor characters. The viewers are whole-heartedly praising the movie for its excellent narration with loads of fun elements.

Vijay Sethupathi has performed his role very neatly. Aandavan Kattalai is the fifth movie for Vijay Sethupathi this year. Ritika Singh who noticed for the superb performance in Irudhi Suttru is playing the female lead in the movie. She doesn’t have much portions in the first half but scores well in the second half. Her expressions are so cute. Yogi Babu scores in humour. Nasser and Pooja Devariya done their part well.

Screenplay by Manikandan is superb. Cinematography by Shanmuga Sundaran are colourful. K’s music goes well with the mood of the film. Editing by Anucharan is good.

Aandavan Kattalai is an interesting film that shows all relevant issues that happening in our society.
