REVIEW

Nadhirshah once again succeeded in delivering an entertaining product, much in the lines of Amar Akbar Anthony. His debut movie Amar Akbar Anthony starring Prithviraj, Indrajith and Jayasurya had shocked the audience for its fresh humour elements.

Script writer turned actor Vishnu Unnikrishnan played the lead role and he portrayed the role of movie aspirant convincingly. He performed well in comedy sequences. Prayaga Martin, who played the lead lady in the film has done the role of Ann Maria, who is new to the village of Krishnan Nair. She looks pretty and have done a decent job.

After a big break, Salim Kumar is appearing in full length comedy movie and has done an excellent job. Darmajan steals the show in the role of Dasappan, the friend of Krishnan Nair. Other cast including Siju Wilson, Rahul Madhav, Kottayam Nazeer, Kalabhavan Shajon have also done their part well.

Scripting by Vishnu Unnikrishnan and Bibin George is superb. They have followed the same pattern as that of Amar Akbar Anthony with loads of humour elements. Cinematographer Shamdatt Sainudeen has set beautiful frames capturing the beauty of Thoduppuzha and Kattapana. Editing by Johnkuttu has done a decent job. Music by Nadhirshah and background score by Bijibal is superb.

The plot is not that fresh, but the presentation of the film keeps you engaged. Overall, Kattappanayile Hrithik Roshan has lot of moments for laughter.
