Kesari - Patriotic movie with  a power packed performance

An action-war movie pillared on original events- the Battle of Saragarhi- the film was released during the Holi festival on March 21st, 2019. The movie has already collected a massive Rs.21.50 Cr on its opening date, thus becoming the highest opening Bollywood film this year.

Coming to the public review about the movie, leaving aside the success it has already gained, the movie is opined as a full-length war drama that has depicted in about the true patriotism. The film which is all about a feud that actually happened in the history of India has never failed to throw lights of wisdom about the actual history of the war and also the Sikh and Muslim legends.

Directed by Anurag Singh, the film is rich with the war frame essentials, background score, action choreography worked well with Akshay Kumar’s thunderous performance. Parineeti Chopra plays a significant role along with Ishar Singh (the role played by Akshay Kumar) has played her part well. Rakesh Chaturvedi Om as the Afghan leader is very convincing with his radicalism, too. In conjunction with all these, script work by Girish Kohli and Anurag Singh is peerless and groovy. With the essence of action, drama, sarcasm, humor, and tragedy added in the right proportion, it is, beyond question, one of the most Indian soupeon films.

As per the critic’s point of view, ''#OneWordReview... #Kesari: OUTSTANDING! Rating: ****. Chronicles a significant chapter from history brilliantly... Nationalism, patriotism, heroism, scales, and soul - #Kesari has it all... Akshay's career-best act... Anurag Singh's direction terrific... Don't miss! #KesariReview,'' is what Taran Adarsh tweeted.
