Luka Chuppi - A romantic situational comedy flick with hardly any dull moments

Luka Chuppi is a Hindi movie starring Kartik Aaryan and Kriti Sanon in the lead roles. The movie is directed by Laxman Utekar. The movie got released on March 1st, 2019. 

The movie revolves around the live-in relationship between Karthik Aaryan (Guddu) and Kriti Sanon (Rashmi). Karthik (Guddu) who is a local reporter who falls in love with Kriti Sanon (Rashmi) who is a headstrong woman. Kriti Sanon (Rashmi) wants a living- in relationship with Karthik (Guddu) before settling down for marriage. As the story revolves around in a small town in North India, the protest, issues, and hitches they have to face have been portrayed in a humorous way in the movie. To make things worse, Kriti Sanon’s father happens to be a right-wing leader. So, from here starts the real story of the movie. The movie explores the social issues prevailing in the society like moral policing, gender inequality etc. 

The movie is fun –ride and in a single phrase, we can tell the movie as romantic situational comedy flick. There are hardly any dull moments in the movie and serious issues are portrayed in a hilarious way. Both Kriti Sanon and Karthik Aaryan plays the role of girl and boy next door with charm and beauty. Luka Chuppi happens to be the debutant movie of Director Laxman Utekar. He has pulled off a good decent movie. He has thrown in front of us complicated and unusual sequences which are portrayed in a witty and humorous way. But all the credit goes to the writer of the movie Rohan Ghoge. His entertaining, witty and swift screenplay and good execution by Director Laxman Utekar has done the trick for the movie.

Performance wise all the lead actors have done a decent job. They must be appreciated for their performance. The first half of the movie moves in swift pace with a lot of funny moments and with an unexpected twist at the interval block. The second half also maintains the same momentum with witty moments and good narration. The run time of the movie happens to be just above 2 hours, which makes the movie even better.  Surely, Luka Chuppi is the real winner which is a clear entertainer with a message which is portrayed in a witty way. Watch Give it a try and watch the movie in theatres.
