STORY

Aditya (Nani), who works as an assistant director falls in love with Kiran (Anu Emmanuel). But a small problem leads the couple to breakup. As time passes, he mets Suma (Priya Shri) and reveals her about his tragic love story. Impressed by this Suma also falls flat for Aditya. The twist arises when Aditya comes to know that Kiran is none other than Suma’s own cousin. What happens next forms the crux of the story.

Nani is superb as a lover boy. He has acted emotional scenes beautifully. Anu Emmanuel makes her Tollywood debut with a brilliant performance. The love sequences between Nani and Anu Emmanuel is quite fresh. Priya Shri have also done a decent performance.

The movie has an interesting story line. The transformation to Nani’s old love have showcased well. The first half of the film is entertaining with some romantic and fun sequences. Also the second half is engaging and the climax is fun filled.

Production values are good. Music by Gopi Sundar is superb. Cinematography by Gyanasekhar have done an excellent work.

Even though the director Virinchi Varma chooses a routine story, he manages to narrate in most entertaining way.

Majnu have no heavy moments or boringly routine sequences, it’s all about love, music and fun.
