STORY
Leelamma stays with her son Sibichan (Suraj Venjaramood), daughter-in-law (Lena) and two grandchildren (Appu and Aparna Balamurali). She is known for her carefree attitude and short-temper. People call her 'rowdy' for her quarrelsome behavior. Even at her home, she creates troubles for her family members. To change her attitude, the family members go on a trip, leaving her with another old woman, Susamma (Sibi’s mother in law).
What happens when two grannies come together forms the rest of the story?
REVIEW
The story is about the problem making and resentful grandmother Leelamma. Later Susamma comes into the life of Leelamma and makes a transition in her life.
Newcomer Rajini Chandy who played the role Leelamma and Susamma played by famous dubbing artist Bhagyalakshmi have done their part well. Suraj, Lena, Aparna Balamurali, Vineeth Sreenivasan, Renji Panicker and Vijayaraghavan also done their part well.
Jude Anthony Joseph tries to discuss the problems faced by grandparents of this generation. He also made an effort to throw some surprises throught the flick and kept the viewers engaged until the end. But towards the end, it became little bit preachy.
Cinematography by Vinod Illampally was good. Music by Shaan Rahman was not quite impressive.
Overall, Oru Muthassi Gadha is a nice movie and enjoyable for people of all age group.
