STORY: The story revolves around the friendship between two 80 year old buddies Devassy Pappan and Perianthanam Varkichan.
REVIEW: Pava is a family entertainer which portrays the life of two friends. The movie is simple without exaggeration.
Varkichan (Anoop Menon) is a happy-go-lucky man while Pappan (Murali Gopi) is a serious men. Paappan and his sisters are settled away from his native village Murikku, but he desires to have his family cemetery in his place of birth. But the rest of the members, the church and even the parishioners don't accept the idea easily. The film is about how Paappan and Varkey deal with the situation.
Murali Gopi and Anoop Menon have done a brilliant performance. Debutant director sooraj tom has done a decent job. All the actors Indrans, P. Balachandran, Shammi Thilakan, KPAC Lalitha also done well.
PaVa tests patience is at certain portions of patchy narrations and stretched second half, which is absolutely predictable. The dialogues were simple realistic. Music composed by Anand Madhusoodhanan is outstanding, especially the flashback sequences, is promising and can surely impress those who love the age-old melodies of Malayalam.
Pa.Va can keep those who enjoy simple family dramas with a Christian flavour engaged.
