REVIEW
Director Sunder Das, who is well known for his comical flicks makes a comeback with the movie.
Dileep was perfect in the role of unnikuttan. His comical timing and energetic performance will surely be a complete treat for the fans. Vedhika also did a decent performance as Radhika and looks pretty onscreen. But her minimal character doesn’t provide her scope to perform. Renji Panicker has done a pretty decent job with his Jail Superintendent.
Siddique, Aju Varghese, Balachandran Chullikadu, Thesni Khan, Vinaya Prasad appeared in other important roles.
The first half has been stuffed with comedy sequences while the second half is reduced to a mere game of heroic action which sees a lack of depth in the plot.
Cinematography by Azhagappan scores with his decent visualization. Editing by John is good. The songs were not upto the mark. Screenplay by Benny P Nayaramabalam was good but doesn’t offer anything much impressive.
Overall, Welcome to central jail is an average comedy entertainer.
